Getting a massage is such a luxury, but it takes time, effort, and money, to get it done regularly. But apparently Chrissy Teigen found a workaround: She got a lymphatic massage jacket.
Chrissy shared the news on Twitter earlier this week. “I’m wearing a lymphatic body massage jacket and I will not apologize for it,” she said. Chrissy also shared a video of herself wearing the jacket while her daughter Luna picked at her teeth with floss, so there’s that.

But, uh, WTF is a lymphatic massage jacket? Well, it’s not 100 percent clear.

A lymphatic massage is a massage that works to stimulate your lymph nodes and prompts them to drain extra fluid that might be built up in them. Basically, it tries to help your lymph system do its job better, according to Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
The Ballancer Pro jacket, which Chrissy appears to be wearing, uses compression therapy to give a lymphatic massage, so no need to travel to a spa for it. “This gentle, relaxing massage drains the lymph nodes that are generally filled with fluid first, and paves the way for an enhanced circulation of lymph,” according to the company website.
It sounds cool, but there really isn’t a ton of research to back up whether this is worth your time and money (or whether it’s good for your health). But hey, Chrissy seems to be enjoying it, so… .
