Another important factor when it comes to washing your hair is the temperature of the water.
You might have heard about the fad that hails washing your hair in cold water to achieve an impeccable shine.

However, the TV doctor recommended against any extreme temperatures.
He added: “Avoid very hot and very cold water. They are both damaging to hair and can again strip the hair and weaken it.”
Last but not least, your hair care shouldn’t include too much heat or heavy chemicals.
“Limit the amount of times you blow dry your hair, you straighten your hair, or use very severe chemicals on your hair,” Dr Amir said.
