Sadie Robertson's 15-week pregnancy countdown is on!
The pregnant Duck Dynasty star, who is expecting her first child — a daughter — with husband Christian Huff, shared a photo of her 25-week baby bump to Instagram this week and opened up about the "joy" and hardships of her journey to motherhood thus far.
"25 weeks today and I can't believe how much I love this little girl already before I've even met her. 😍 ," the mama-to-be, 23, wrote alongside the snap, prednisone poison ivy in which she showcased her bare belly.
While Robertson said that her pregnancy has been "magical," she also admitted that there have been some "hard things" — including battling COVID-19 and morning sickness for 22 weeks.
"Every little kick brings so much joy to my life! Pregnancy truly is the wildest thing, but as magical as it's been there have definitely been some hard things!" she continued. "I have talked a little about my morning sickness on here, and not gonna lie, it was rough! 😅 I threw up every day until week 22. 🤪"

But although "at times it felt exhausting," said Robertson, she has found comfort and support from fellow mamas.
"But just like anything in life that's challenging what helps the most is having support and hearing other people's stories that went through similar things," she said.
Robertson and Huff, 22, announced on their respective Instagram accounts in early October that they are going to be the proud parents of a little bundle of joy. One month later, it was revealed that their baby on the way is a little girl.
Speaking with PEOPLE at the end of 2020, Robertson opened up about her "whirlwind" year.
"It's been wild! Yes, it's been crazy. Me and Christian got married last year, first of all, that was before COVID happened. So COVID happened, which changed the whole world. We were in Auburn while Christian was finishing school and then we moved because school got canceled. Moved back to Louisiana and then a few months later found out we were pregnant, so it's been a whirlwind. But we are so excited," she said.
For the Dancing with the Stars alumna., "pregnancy is the best."
But her first trimester wasn't absent from "some pretty crazy morning sickness, and you know, just the typical pregnancy feelings of just like, you're exhausted, you're starving. All those things," she explained. "All those things. But at the same time, it's been so fun. I mean, it's been so joyous and so amazing."

"I literally threw up every day for eight weeks straight, so that was crazy. This is my first week that I haven't been sick, only one day. So that's pretty funny," she added.
Robertson admitted that "the hardest thing was I did get COVID while I was pregnant and I was so sick from that, and so sick still in the morning sickness, so that was a challenge. Seriously, my heart goes out to every single pregnant person with COVID and everybody with COVID. They were telling me at the hospital, they were like, 'Man, people have to deliver with it.' I can't even imagine. So that was challenging in and of itself."

And while it's still months away until the couple are due to meet their little one, they already have a name picked for their daughter.
"We actually do have a baby name, but we are keeping it a secret. Christian and I, really before we even knew it was a girl or a boy, we decided on a girl and a boy name, and so as soon as we found out it was a girl, we knew her name," said the Live: Remain Alive, Be Alive at a Specified Time, Have an Exciting Or Fulfilling Life author.
"It's been really sweet to get to call her by name and just know that. But we're going to save that for the rest of the world for a little while," she said.
