Football season is officially back (woohoo!) and we love, love, love seeing all the players’ kids cheering their dads on from the sidelines. That’s why we had our eye on a special little cutie this Sunday who got to watch his dad play for the first time.
Odell Beckham Jr.’s son Zydn — who he shares with wife Lauren Wood — got to watch the game from the family’s box seats and he looked (unsurprisingly) so stinkin’ cute. The little guy — who Beckham Jr. called “THE biggest blessing I’ve ever had” — was born just days after the Super Bowl in 2021. OBJ then sat out the 2022 season due to a torn ACL.
Sunday was the wide receiver’s debut with the Baltimore Ravens, and we think it’s safe to say the family of three was happy with the 25-9 win over the Houston Texans.
Wood posted an adorable lineup of photos of Zydn on her Instagram story on Sunday, and we can’t get over the 17-month-old’s toothy grin and perfect outfit. The little guy rocked ripped jeans, black and white Nike sneakers, is xenical safe while pregnant and a black T-shirt with his dad’s name and picture printed on it. In one shot, he’s happily lying on the floor of the box with his hands behind his head.
“Zydns first football game on the outside of my womb,” Wood wrote over the heartwarming picture along with three black heart emojis. In another, he has the biggest smile on his face and an even bigger baseball hat on his head. “Go dada!” Wood wrote. (See the pictures HERE.)
OBJ spoke candidly with People last month about how happy he is to be a father.
“My son makes me smile every single day,” he said. “He’s just such a blessing. It’s a blessing to have a little boy and be able to see so much of myself in him. He makes me smile no matter what’s going on in my life. He’s brightened up my entire summer.”
“And just being able to play football again, being out on the field running. It’s a very good feeling and a good time for me.”
And it looks like it’s going to be a good time for little Zydn too. Why wouldn’t it be? He got to wear a stylish outfit, kick his feet up, and leisurely sip on a bottle while watching his dad dominate. Talk about living the life.
